Meeting to mark the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Union

Chairperson of the Provincial Women’s Union Dao Nguyen reviewed the Union’s establishment

During  the past 77 years, under the authority of Vietnam Communist Party, along with the growth of the nation, Vietnam Women’s Union has been grown up and developed. The Union has become a strong socio-political organization from the Central to the grass roots level, having a large membership and dynamic and enthusiastic officials who led women’s movements to gradually grow and become stronger.

Looking back on the past 77 years, Dong Nai’s women are glad and proud of the grown-up and development of women movements across the whole province. The Provincial women have taken part in all economic, political, cultural and social fields, which makes an important contribution to the nation building and defense.

Comrade Bui Ngoc Thanh are granting  “Nguyen Thi Dinh” Scholarship

    At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women’s Union launched an emulation campaign from now to October 20, 2008, calling for women to actively response to movements that encourage women to study, work and build happy families as well as train themselves to become healthy, knowledgeable, dynamic and creative women. All levels of the Union foster the education of politics and thoughts and build core membership.

On this occasion, The provincial Women’s Union granted 46 “Nguyen Thi Dinh” scholarships to children of the Union’s officials who have difficult lives but have a good performance in study. Each scholarship is worth VND500,000.
