On the morning of October 4, 2007, the Steering Committee of Fire Prevention and Fighting (FPF) organized a meeting and a contest of FPF to response to “the Day for the entire population to participate in fire prevention and fighting”. The meeting was attended by Do Van Son – Deputy Director of PC23 (Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department), Dinh Quoc Thai – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, The Provincial Military Headquarters and leaders of other departments, branches and sectors along with armed forces across the province.

Over 60 teams participating in the contest had a three hundred - meter race, running over the obstacles on the racecourse, rescuing people and saving property. The organization board awarded the first prize to Bien Hoa FPF Police Team, two second prizes to KT580 FPF team and Long Khanh Town Police Department, and three prizes to FPF team of PV11 department and PX28 department, Regiment 935 and Bien Hoa One Member Liability Limited Company of Construction and Building-Material Production.
