On October 2, 2007, The Traffic Safety Board – The Provincial Labour Confederation organized the Contest of “Good Popularizer of Traffic-Safety”. Eight units took part in the contest including: confederations of labour (CL) of Long Khanh District, Tan Phu District and Long Khanh Town, trade unions of Departments of Commerce – Tourism, Public Health and Traffic and Transportation, trade unions of civil servants and Dong Nai Rubber Company. Each team had 5 contestants.

The contest was intended to make officials and civil servants to actively learn and find out about traffic law. Through the contest and various methods of popularization, the awareness, self-consciousness and sense of responsibility of each official and civil servant in the field of traffic safety are heightened. The contest was also a place for the contestants to learn from each other and exchange experience in traffic safety and order.

The contest was in two parts: Presentations on traffic safety and skill performance through play-act.

Accordingly, the first collective prize was awarded to CL of Long Khanh Town, the second prize was awarded to Trade Union of Dong Nai Rubber Company and the third one was won by CL of Tan Phu District’s.  Concerning individual prizes, Nguyen Thi Kim Thu – member of the local union of  Bao Quang Secondary School (Long Khanh District) - won the first, Phi Thi Thanh Thuy- Le Quy Don Secondary School (Long Khanh District) - won the second and Nguyen Thi Tre – Dau Giay Plantation - won the third one.
