The Presentation ceremony of  the Executive Board of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the term from 2007 to 2012

On November 11, the seventh Congress of Delegates of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (term 2007-2012)   ended. The attendees included Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh – Member of The Central Party, Secretary of the Provincial Committee together with representatives of leaders from the Provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee, the Father Front along with Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heros Of The People's Armed Forces as well as 347 Official Delegates of over 200 Youth Union members.

        The summation report of the last term showed that youth union tasks and the youth movements had some manifest changes; for example, the whole province expanded with 163,000 new youth union members, increasing the total of members in the province to 203,495. Besides, The central Party has been relied on and set important assignments for the Youth Union staff and young party members in a lot of fields of Party tasks and state management. The congress proposed directions and tasks in the new term which were to boost educating youth union members and the youth to well perform the programs launched by the Central Youth Union in order to contribute positively to the local socio-economic development.

        The Congress elected the new-term Executive Board including 40 people among which Mr. Bui Xuan Thong was elected as the Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union in the term of 2007 to 2021 along with 3 Deputy Secretaries namely Tang Quoc Lap,Le Thi Ngoc Loan and Bui Thi Bich Thuy.

        The Delegates attending the sixth National Union Congress included 13 delegates and 2 Alternate delegates. Right after the presentation, the Executive Board of Provincial Youth Union in the seventh term set program of actions in this new term and voted on some basic targets and ratified the Congress Resolution.
