SEMLA is the name of a project coordinated between Vietnam and Sweden in order to intensify the ability in environment management. The project started to be carried out in Dong Nai from October 18 2007.
At the Seminar, Rosita Ericsson, the SEMLA consultant, reported on experience in working with provincial television stations to enhance community awareness of resources and environment, such as working out plans for TV programs, developing suitable outlines and contents, procedures and main points needed to be considered and her experience from other countries etc. Also, at the seminar, the delegates could discuss and share their experience with one another in the field of communication and the enhancement of awareness of environment in their localities. The more interesting thing was that TV reporters and delegates were divided in groups to practise drawing up outlines for TV programs. This seminar can be said to be scientific, practical and directly meaningful to people who work in the area of environmental communication.
