The Steering Committee of the “All people unite to build a cultural lifestyle” movement had a meeting on the draft plan to develop the movement.

In addition to their ideas contributed to the draft report of 2006, plans for 2007 and plans to commend typical cultural families on the occasion of Vietnamese Families’ Day (June 28), members of the steering committee focused on their ideas on the plan to build and develop the movement from now to 2010. As a matter of fact, the plan for 2010 is to make efforts to gain over 85 percent of quarters and hamlets achieving the titles “cultural quarter” and “cultural hamlet”, over 50 percent of communes and wards obtaining the titles “cultural communes” and “cultural wards”, over 98 percent of families getting the title “cultural family”, 75 percent of communes and wards having healthy environment without social evils and 100 percent of state-run agencies and over 60 percent of enterprises obtaining the title “agencies having sound cultural lifestyles”. To reach the target, it is necessary to coordinate sectors to speed up movements, build cultural institutions and intensify the efficiency in state management in the fields of cultural activities and cultural services as well as promote socialization and research in the field of culture and simultaneously expand cultural cooperation with other provinces and in the neighborhood.
