Dong Nai intended to establish 4 more bus routes operating without subsidies in 2007

In 2006, the whole province had 20 enterprises that organized worker-transporting vehicles with the total number of 209 vehicles, transporting more than 15 thousand workers of 26 factories every day. Also this year, the province set up 3 bus routes operating without subsidy, bringing the total of bus routes up to 14 efficiently operating routes.

In order to foster this kind of business, serving the travel need of workers in the province in 2007, Dong Nai Department of Communications and Transport is going to collaborate with Binh Duong Department of Communications and Transport in establishing a bus route operating without subsidy from the bus station of Bien Hoa city to the bus station of Binh Duong province and this route is scheduled to be put into use for this May. At the same time, they are also going to establish 3 more bus routes operating without subsidy from bus station of Xuan Loc to bus station of Vung Tau crossroad, from 4 districts of Xuan Loc to Bien Hoa station and from Phuong Lam commune, Tan Phu district to Long Khanh bus station and these bus routes are scheduled to be put into use for June in 2007. As far as it is known, the transport sector is going to finish the investment project to buy 150 vehicles used for publicly transporting passengers and worker-transporting vehicles and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
