Provincial leader welcomes and works with Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park J.V. Co., Ltd

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of December 19, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh welcomed and worked with representatives of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park J.V. Co., Ltd (VSIP) to hear and learn about investment cooperation opportunities in industrial park infrastructure in Dong Nai province. Also attending were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang and leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh were certain about the locality's potential, advantages and attractiveness in the coming years. The targets of Dong Nai's investment attraction were projects with new and upcoming technologies, bringing great value and sustainable development. The Provincial Party Secretary also said that VSIP was an experienced business, so the province welcomed and was willing to cooperate with the company in understanding and researching investment proposals. VSIP needed to proactively contact localities, departments and sectors to come up with appropriate solutions.

The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang and leaders of departments and sectors gave an overview of the local industrial park development planning; priorities in attracting investment in industrial park infrastructure and attracting secondary production and business projects. The province also introduced a number of areas that VSIP can look into such as the vicinity of Long Thanh International Airport; Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc districts, or Long Khanh city... as these localities still have a lot of potential for developing industrial park infrastructure.

VSIP representative introduced the operating model and desire for cooperation and investment in Dong Nai province 

The VSIP representative also informed the business's operating model to provincial leaders. Specifically, up to now, there have been 14 VSIP industrial parks in 10 provinces and cities of Vietnam with a scale of about 11 thousand hectares, creating jobs for more than 300 thousand workers and attracting nearly 20 billion USD of investment capital. He also emphasized that Dong Nai province was a locality with a developed economy, located in the southern dynamic economic region, with many large economic infrastructure projects, so it was able to attract domestic and foreign investors. As a professional unit in investing in large industrial park infrastructure, VSIP hoped that the locality would create conditions for the business to conduct surveys in order to have appropriate investment proposals.​
