Implementing Project 06 is a correct and appropriate action as it has achieved practical results

(News Portal – Dong Nai) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, held a conference to summarize 2 years of implementing the project to develop application of online population data, identification and authentication to serve the national digital transformation period 2022-2025, vision to 2030 (referred to as Project 06) and directions, key solutions and tasks to be followed in 2024. Attending the conference was Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Minister of Public Security, General To Lam.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc and Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police represented Dong Nai province in the online conference.

In the conclusion of the online conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the attempts, efforts and results achieved by ministries, departments, central branches and localities in implementing the task of digital transformation, Project 06.

The Prime Minister emphasized a number of noticeable results, such as: the work of perfecting institutions, mechanisms and policies to create a framework for national digital transformation in general and Project 06 in particular has been actively and effectively implemented; online public services based on the national population database have been promoted, bringing practical results, gradually building a professional, modern administration, serving citizens and businesses effectively; promoting connection and sharing of national data, population and local sectors; creating an important foundation to form a digital citizen sytrunk, granting 100% citizen identity card to the population, 70 million online identity accounts; working to ensure security and safety of information sytrunks and personal data. From the above results, it shows that the implementation of Project 06 is a correct and appropriate action as it has achieved practical results;...

According to the assessment of the Government's Project 06 Working Group, there are currently still 26 tasks behind schedule according to the Project's roadmap and the roadmap of directives, resolutions, and telegrams of the Government. For 2024, the Working Group proposes that the Prime Minister implement Project 06 with the theme "Completing technology infrastructure, digitization, connection, and data sharing to serve digital government, digital economy, digital society and digital citizen", and creating 81 tasks (20 for general purposes, the rest is specific tasks). ​
