(News Portal – Dong Nai) – On the afternoon of January 9, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi worked with Chieu Minh Investment Company Limited (HCMC) on the project of treating industrial, hazardous and domestic waste at Cam My district.

The company said that it
has studied and decided to invest in a waste treatment project in the existing
Xuan My Waste Treatment Area. The project uses Taiwan's waste treatment
technology, meeting environmental criteria according to provincial regulations
and requirements. This project will create economic, environmental and
employment value for workers. Besides this project, the company also has the
ability to invest in a number of other infrastructure projects the needs arise.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi said that the above treatment area already had an investor but the implementation process was slow and had not met the province's requirements. There were 2 options: Option 1, if the investor did not meet the time requirements, the province would withdraw the project and then asked another investors and company to take over; Option 2, both parties cooperated in the form of capital contribution and worked together, without having to redo the procedures from the beginning.
Provincial leaders asked Chieu Minh Investment Co., Ltd. to agree on a plan, and work with the current investor and then propose to the Provincial People's Committee. Also, according to Vice Chairman Vo Van Phi, the province welcomes projects with modern technology, good environmental treatment for the province, contributing to the overall sustainable development.
