The Finnish Embassy has a working trip in Dong Nai province

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) – On January 11, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang and representatives of leaders of departments and sectors welcomed the delegation of the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam led by Mr. Keijo Norvanto - Ambassador of Finland in Vietnam as Head of the delegation. 

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to the working delegation. 

At the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang informed the Ambassador and the delegation about the socio-economic situation of the province, and the situation of attracting foreign investment capital in Dong Nai province. Accordingly, in Dong Nai province, there are projects from 45 countries and territories, including 02 Finnish projects with a total investment capital of 3.35 million USD. These businesses are currently operating normally in Dong Nai province.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang highly appreciated the attention the delegation of the Finnish Embassy in Vietnam has given to Dong Nai province. Dong Nai province's leaders always want to further strengthen cooperation in economic development and cultural exchange between Dong Nai and the Finnish Embassy in Vietnam in general and Finnish partners in particular. 

Working session between Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang and the delegation led by the Finnish Ambassador. 

With the mindset “the government always accompanies businesses", Dong Nai province always encourages and creates conditions for foreign businesses to invest. The Vice Chairwoman hopes that Mr. Keijo Norvanto will be the link in introducing Finnish businesses to research, do business and invest in the province, as well as volunteer organizations to operate in the province, to join hands with the local government body in the socio-economic development of Dong Nai.

Ambassador Keijo Norvanto thanked the leaders of Dong Nai province for taking the time to welcome the delegation. Through this meeting, Ambassador Keijo Norvanto hoped that Finnish businesses can work with the locality to learn and develop projects, especially exploitation, care and development of technology and sustainable forests to create eco-friendly interior products that do not damage the environment, develop renewable energy projects and waste-to-energy projects.

At the meeting, representatives of Finnish businesses briefly introduced their strengths. ​
