The presentation on Developing tourism based on pottery cultural heritage towards building a innovative city (from theory and world experience to preliminary suggestions for Bien Hoa city) by Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Thu Hien , University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has suggested a new development model for tourism in Bien Hoa City. Based on scientific research, GT-Dr. Phan Thi Thu Hien believes that Bien Hoa city should not develop according to the ancient pottery village model like other localities in the country. Instead, the city should associate the preservation and development of pottery with cultural industry, innovative industry, and innovative city. The city possesses all the technological, artistic and business factors to become a pottery hub like many other locations in the world (such as the model of China's Jingdezhen city, Korea's Icheon city model).
