Begin the construction of Long Phuoc resettlement area in order to serve the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On December 27, Long Thanh district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Long Phuoc resettlement area in Long Phuoc commune. Attending the ceremony were Member of the Standing Committee, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee Vo Tan Duc; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Long Thanh District Party Committee Duong Minh Dung; Chairman of People's Committee of Long Thanh district Le Van Tiep. This is the second resettlement area in Long Thanh district to be constructed to serve the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project.

Long Phuoc resettlement area has an area of nearly 34 hectares. After the investment is completed, the project will arrange 1048 lots of resettlement land with an average area of 80-125m². Long Phuoc resettlement area will provide living land for 4 thousand to 4.5 people. The infrastructure system of Long Phuoc resettlement area has a total investment of nearly 365 billion VND, construction completion time is 420 days.

​At the groundbreaking ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said that Long Phuoc resettlement area was invested and built to serve the work of compensation, support, and resettlement for people in the area, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project and other projects implemented in Long Thanh district in the period 2021-2025. Long Phuoc resettlement area was planned to be built with a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure system, complying with the approved general planning and linked to the common infrastructure in the area. When completed, Long Phuoc Resettlement Area would create a new spacious residential area, creating conditions for the development of people's lives and the economic, as well as social development of the region and Long Thanh district.

Acting Chairman Vo Tan Duc also requested the investor, construction units, consultants, and supervisors immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony to focus resources to ensure the project construction's schedule and quality. At the same time, ensure traffic safety, labor safety and the surrounding environment to minimize the impact on production and business activities as well as the lives of people and businesses in the area.​​
