Dong Nai Has Ample Potential for Developing Aviation Sports Tourism

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On July 31st, Member of the Central Party Committee and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh chaired a meeting with Sg Victory Investment Import Export Trading Services Joint Stock Company (SGVIC, Ho Chi Minh City). Participating in the meeting were Deputy Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, leaders from the Provincial Party Office, various provincial departments, and leaders from SGVIC.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Nam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SGVIC, introduced to the provincial leaders the potential for developing the aviation sports tourism sector in Dong Nai, as well as the service solutions offered by SGVIC. He also proposed several issues to the provincial leaders such as organizing the International Hot Air Balloon Festival Dong Nai 2025; establishing the Dong Nai Aviation Sports Federation; and developing aviation sports tourism products.

According to Mr. Nam, these proposals will create a unique and attractive novelty with widespread appeal, contributing to boosting tourism and the economy in Dong Nai. Notably, the International Hot Air Balloon Festival Dong Nai 2025 is expected to be organized during the celebration of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam on April 30, 2025. 

The enterprise presents the proposal to organize the International Hot Air Balloon Festival Dong Nai 2025 to the provincial leaders. 

Appreciating the proposals and ideas from the enterprise, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh urged the leadership of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments to pay attention to the three issues proposed by the enterprise. First, regarding the proposal to organize the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Secretary assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to discuss and provide recommendations to the Standing Committee for a decision; second, the formation of the Dong Nai Aviation Sports Federation, which the Secretary supports, while also requesting the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to receive and process the applications in accordance with legal regulations.

The Party Secretary emphasized that forming a sports federation in Dong Nai, a locality with favorable conditions for developing aviation sports (with two airports, Tri An Lake, Dong Nai River, provincial stadium, etc.), is reasonable and should be encouraged to create unique tourism products for Dong Nai. The establishment of the aviation sports federation is a good condition to promote the development of Dong Nai's tourism products. The Secretary assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct localities with potential for developing aviation tourism products to research and build suitable products. The Party Secretary also instructed the provincial tourism development steering committee to connect with businesses and tourism associations to create unique tourism products in the field of aviation sports.​
