(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Recently, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the Conference on Trade Promotion and Export-Import Development in the Southeast Region. The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online participation.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang delivered the concluding remarks at the conference.
The conference was chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang, along with leaders from the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Phuoc Province. Participating and presenting a paper at the conference was Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade Thai Thanh Phong.
This is the fourth conference in 2024 in the series of trade promotion and export-import development conferences across economic regions nationwide. Additionally, it is the second conference on trade promotion and export-import development in the Southeast region organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, following the first conference held late last year in Binh Duong Province.
At the conference, representatives from localities, associations, and major businesses in e-commerce, distribution, and retail shared papers and content related to regional trade promotion linkages in the Southeast; regional cooperation in developing high-tech agriculture and large-scale goods for export; logistics activities linkage; and export promotion on e-commerce platforms…
Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Thai Thanh Phong, representing the Dong Nai delegation, presented a paper at the conference.
In particular, the representative from Dong Nai presented a paper on enhancing the connection between industrial parks and export processing zones to form clusters linked to the export industry in the Southeast region.
Businesses from Dong Nai participated in promoting and showcasing their products on the sidelines of the conference.
