Sonadezi Long Binh Shareholding Company said that it has just completed the construction of phase 2 of the concentrated wastewater treatment plant in Xuan Loc Industrial Zone with a capacity of 1,500 m3 per day. Increasing the treatment capacity of the whole factory to 2,500m3 per day (phase 1 was 1,000m3 per day, completed construction in 2013).
The implementation of investment phase 2 is to meet the demand for wastewater treatment of factories/companies in the Industrial Zone. According to the plan, at the end of April, phase 2 will be tested and the official operation will be in October 2022. At that time, the wastewater treatment system of the plant will reach the designed volume. However, because the actual volume of wastewater collected and treated depends on the amount of wastewater generated, it may not reach the treatment capacity of 2,500m3 per day.
The company commits that the treated wastewater meets the national technical standards on industrial wastewater. Implement periodical environmental monitoring program and submit annual environmental protection reports to management agencies.
