Long Thanh District recovers a lot of land to
implement national, provincial and district projects
According to the 2022 Land Use Plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee, Long Thanh District must recover nearly 4,900 hectares of land to implement projects in the district. In which, there are more than 4,600 hectares of agricultural land and nearly 250 hectares of non-agricultural land. The locality with a large area of land to be recovered is Binh Son Commune with more than 2,600 hectares; Tam An Commune with over 420ha; Phuoc Binh Commune with nearly 400ha; An Phuoc Commune with nearly 300ha.
Also in 2022, Long Thanh District was approved by the Provincial People's Committee to deploy about 154 projects with an area of nearly 1,100 hectares in the fields of economy - society, defence - security. Most of the projects implemented this year are transitions from previous years, and there are very few new approved projects. Long Thanh District is the locality with the most land to be recovered for the implementation of national and regional transport technical infrastructure projects. The district, based on the location of the connection to the national transport infrastructure framework, will be divided into 5 development zones with their own advantages.
