Semifinal round of contest on telling stories about President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example held

On June 6, 2008, Dong Nai provincial Steering Committee held the semifinal round of contest on “Telling stories about President HCM’s moral example” at the meeting hall of Dong Nai Teacher Training College. Participants were 11 candidates from Provincial Party Committee, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Communist Youth Union and Dong Nai veterans association.

        All candidates expressed their grateful to Uncle Ho – a great political leader of Vietnamese nation by telling touching stories about him. Specially, they can draw meaningful lessons from stories they told, then applying to real situations.

particular, Nguyen Thi Hang, teacher of Ton Duc Thang high school in Tan Phu district, told a moving story namely “Uncle Ho in my heart” with all her emotion.

Through stories about Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, candidates hoped to send many meaningful messages to everybody. President Ho Chi Minh’s virtues are industriousness, thrift, honesty,

 righteousness, public-spiritedness and selflessness. The contest once again promoted the virtuous character traits for Vietnamese people.
