Ho Chi Minh’s 118th birthday marked with tree planting campaigns.

Ao Van Thinh - Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee takes part in "tree planting Tet"

Vinh Cuu has preserved the largest natural forest area ( 59,596 hectares) in the province. In 2007 alone, the district replanted 194.6 hectares of forest and 8,960 dispersing trees, contributing to raise forest planting area to 46,399 hectares and dispersing trees to 20 billion trees at present. It is expected that Dongnai will raise forest coverage of 26.49% to 27.5% including 536 hectares of concentrated forest and 190 dispersing trees (most of tree are big )

As reported, A tree planting campaign was held in other districts on the same day. Tin Nghia Co. as well launched campaign to plant trees along streets at Nhon Trach 3 Industrial Zone in Nhon Trach district. Trees chosen to plant on this occasion were ornamental ones and ones planted for shade such as willow, osaka, etc. As reported, this company planted 50 hectares of concentrated trees  in this industrial zone.
