19th Dong Nai Golden Pen Award marks 83rd Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 6, 1925 – June 21, 2008)

In the morning of June 20, Dong Nai Journalists’ Association solemnly held a meeting to mark the 83rd Vietnam Revolutionary Press (June 6, 1925 – June 21, 2008) and award the 19th Dong Nai Golden Pen Prize at the meeting hall of Provincial Party’s Committee. The meeting was attended by Head of Popularization Board of Party’s Committee Huynh Van Toi, Vice-Chairwomen of Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, representatives of departments and sectors, senior journalists and other reporters in the province.

At the meeting, Chairmen of Dong Nai Journalists’ Association Mai Song Be made his speech to review the tradition of Vietnam Revolutionary Press over the past 83 years. Accordingly, Dong Nai Press has never stopped improving itself, making a contribution for the cause of national renovation during the past year.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Journalists’ Association presented the campaign medals “For the Cause of Vietnam Press” to 11 provincial journalists for their positive contributions; and granted a certificate of merit to Tran Tat Thanh – Director of Provincial Library.
