As for upper secondary , there are 26,044 candidates, including 23,673 students at 49 exam boards having 1,102 exam rooms. As for continuation high school graduation exam, there are 5,525 candidates at 10 exam boards having 233 exam rooms.
The exam will be held in three days ( on 28th, 29th, and 30th May) with 6 subjects including Literature, Biology, Physics, History, Math, Foreign
Language ( other option is Chemistry). Time for candidates to do writing tests include 150 mins. for Literature and Math, 90 mins. for History. Biology, Physics, Foreign Language will be multiple-choice tests and time allowed to do is 60 mins. for each subject. For candidates from continuation senior schools, they will take 6 tests including Literature, Physics, History, Chemistry, Math and Geography, in which Physics and Biology are multiple-choice tests with 60 mins. to do each and History and Geography are writing tests with 90 mins to do. Literature and Math are also writing tests with 150 mins to do.
According to regulation, prescribed time to deliver exam papers is at twenty-five past seven for mornings and twenty-five past two for afternoons. Candidates have to come to the exam rooms 30 mins. earlier ( for writing tests), and 60 mins. earlier ( for multiple-choice tests)
