Implementation of the Party’s resolutions and directions in Xuan Loc district inspected

On July 7, an inspection delegation led by Mr. Tran Minh Thau, member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, had a working session with Xuan Loc district’s Party Committee on the implementation of the party’s resolutions and directions in the district. Accordingly, the delegation inspected the implementation of Resolutions No.08/NQ-TU and No.07/NQ-HU on the 2008 socio-economic tasks, the work of administrative reform and corruption prevention, the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” in Xuan Loc district.

    According to report, Xuan Loc district has exceeded targets in the first half of the year; particularly, the first six-month GDP increased by 16.62%, state budget revenues achieved nearly 90%, 100% of communal medical stations reached the national standard and so on

    At the working session, Xuan Loc authority hoped that the province would continue to provide capital support for the district to expand its cultivation area and build a brand name for local products; helping the district to establish high-productivity clubs, have a stable source of power to serve production, and train professional personnel.

    Speaking at the working session, Mr. Tran Minh Thau spoke highly of the socio-economic achievements made by the district during the past time and hoped that the district would continue to tap its strength and potential to fulfill its socio-economic targets for 2008. He also suggested the province’s relevant agencies should cooperate and support the district to complete the five-year plan for socio-economic development, with a focus on hastening the construction process of high-productivity club union, applying new techniques and technologies in agricultural production, supplementing human resources for the locality, paying attention to regular Party building work, creating new progress in administrative procedure reform, and effectively launching the campaign to “Study and follow late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” in an effort to fight corruption and wastefulness.

On two days, July 8-9, the delegation will work with Department of Education and Training and Long Khanh town.
