Popularizing the anti-corruption law and thrift practice law.

The Anti-corruption law No 55/2005/QH11 and the thrift practice law No 48/2005/QH11 were passed by the 9^th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the 8^th session on November 29^th 2005 and went into effect on June 1^st 2006. The Anti-corruption law consists of 8 chapters and 92 clauses and the thrift practice law comprises 11 chapters and 86 clauses. These laws play a significant role, showing the absolute determination of the Party and the State to fight against corruption and wastefulness in the new situation; fulfilling responsibilities of all branches, agencies at all levels, state officials and people to manage and use properties as well as the state budget effectively; and at the same time helping all citizens to grasp thoroughly the anti-corruption law and policy on thrift and anti-wastefulness.
