24,373 candidates join the entrance examination into tenth form

 In the morning, the candidates will take the test of Vietnamese literature with the duration of 120 minutes; the test in the afternoon is math with the duration of 120 minutes. Next morning, June 23rd, candidates will take English exam with the duration of 60 minutes. All tests are in the form of written tests.

This is the first year the junior high school graduation exam is abolished and the entrance examination and the enrollment selection into senior high school are implemented. As for public senior high school, the registration for entrance exam is allowed to surpass 20% of its quota and the registration for enrollment selection is not allowed to pass 20% of its quota. According to the provincial Department of Education and Training, 21 among the 32 public senior high school of 10 localities in the province, consisting of Bien Hoa City (5 schools) Long Khan town ( 2 schools), Long Thanh (3 schools), Dinh Quan (3 schools), Tan Phu (2 schools), Xuan Loc (2 schools), Vinh Cuu (1 school), Thong Nhat (1 school), Trang Bom (1 school) and Cam My (1 school), organize the entrance exam. Two public high schools in Nhon Trach district do not organize the entrance examination. The schools which have a large number of registrations are Tran Bien (1,947 registrations, quota 675 students), Nguyen Trai (1,750 registrations, quota 495 students), Nam Ha (1,248 registrations, quota 585), Ngo Quyen (1,040 registrations, quota 450), Nguyen Huu Canh (996 registrations, quota 395), Long Thanh (1,092 registrations, quota 585), Thong Nhat A (1,423 registrations, quota 495), Thong Nhat B (1,700 registrations, quota 675), Long Khanh (1,356 registrations, quota 675) and Xuan Loc ( 1,778 registrations, quota 675).
