Dong Nai Province: 24.137 students took the High School Graduation Exam in 2006.

On May 31st, along with 1, 1 million High School Graduation Exam Students over the nation, 24.137 students from 49 High Schools in Dong Nai Province began their first 2006’s High School Graduation Exam day. In the morning of the first day, the students took their exam in Literature (time for this subject: 150 minutes), the afternoon was for Chemistry (duration: 90 minutes). On June 1st morning, the students did their History papers (in 90 minutes) and the afternoon was for Geography (in 90 minutes). On June 2nd morning, It was the Math (in 150 minutes) and the Foreign Language or Physics was in the afternoon (in 90 minutes).

D-thi160At the same time, The Supplementary High School Graduation Exam also took place for 3 days May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd.  The tested subjects were: Literature, Chemistry, History, Geography, Math and Physics. There were 4.997 candidates in the whole province, with 1000 more candidates than the precedent year (including nearly 1000 free candidates and 170 ones from other provinces). Among them, 985 candidates had their precedent years’ marks transferred to this year (one or 6 subjects). Especially, nine exam boards of Supplementary High Schools were all located in Bien Hoa City.

According to Department of Education and Training, among 24.137 students who took the High School Graduation Exam this year, 22.196 students studied the reformed program. There were 46 exam boards with 984 exam rooms over the province. This was also the first year when 1.941 students from 4 high schools: Ngo Quyen, Nguyen Trai, Thong Nhat A, Tan Phu took the pilot section program graduation exam with1484 section A students and 457 section C students.
