Dong Nai’s state budget revenue estimated to reach over VND3,500 billion in first half

In the first half of 2008, Dong Nai province’s state budget revenue is estimated to reach over VND3,500 billion, accounting for 51.36% of the ordinance estimate in 2008, up 43.55% compared to the same period last year. Of this figure, the province’s total state budget revenue (except revenue from land) is over VND3,204 billion, accounting for 48,32 of the ordinance estimate and up 32.95% against the same period last year.

        In comparison with the same period last year, the province’s state budget revenue from most fields has increased highly in the first quarter of 2008 with such typical fields as: revenue from state-owned enterprises up 32.83%; revenue from non-state-owned enterprises up 34.02%; personal income tax up 69.41%; land use right transfer tax up 181.71%; land use right tax up 333.6%; and registration fee up 88.55%. The budget revenue decreased over the same period has included land rental, state-owned houses revenue, and revenue from fixed.

        For Dong Nai province’s Tax Branches alone, the state budget revenue (except revenue from land) is estimated to be over VND780 billion, making up 64.53% of

the ordinance estimate and up 52.66% against the same period. Of which, the revenue held by only two tax branches of Long Khanh and Thong Nhat increased below 30%.
