According to the Department of Education and Training, in this school-year, the whole province has 747 schools (an increase of 17 schools comparing with that of the previous school-year), among which pre-school grade accounts for 229 schools (9 newly-built); primary 298 schools (2 newly-built); junior high-school 165 schools (4 newly-built); senior high-school 55 schools (2 newly-built). The sizes of pupils and students are anticipated as follows: pre-school with 87,430 children, primary with 199,924 pupils, junior high-school with 174,120 pupils and senior high-school with 87,800 pupils. In this school-year, 28 schools in the whole province have their material facilities newly built and 108 classrooms are built to meet the increasing demand of pupils and the reduction in the number of pupils per class in the localities.
