3 Dongnai candidates won prizes at the 2007 National Amateur Young Informatics Contest

The 2007 National Amateur Young Informatics Contest took place from August 1 to August 4, 2007 at Can Tho University with the participation of 183 candidates from 51 provinces and cities all over the country. The contents of the contest are designed for 3 levels including the common part (primary students belong to group A, junior high-school students group B and senior high-school students group C); creative software (primary students group D1, junior high-school students group D2 and senior high-school students group D3); Fun with computing; the contest time for primary students is 120 minutes, junior high-school students 150 minutes and senior high-school students 150 minutes.

Dongnai team had 4 candidates taking part in the contest including Ho Ngoc Lan Phuong – Primary Grade from Long Khanh unit, Do Mai Anh Tu - Junior High-school Grade from Bien Hoa unit, Nguyen Ba Nam Thien - Senior High-school Grade from Bien Hoa unit and Nguyen Duc Toan from Dinh Quan unit with Physics software for 6th Grade.

As a result, 3 Dongnai candidates won 4 prizes at the Contest: Ho Ngoc Lan Phuong – Kim Dong Primary School (Long Khanh Town) won the second prize in Primary Grade; Nguyen Ba Nam Thien – Ngo Quyen High-school (Bien Hoa City) the third prize in Junior High-school Grade; Nguyen Duc Toan – Tan Phu High-school (Dinh Quan District) the third prize in Creative Software and the first prize in Fun with computing.
