22,554 of 24,100 students in the province were recognized to graduate senior high school, making up of 93, 62%. Of which 393 students graduated with good diplomas (make up of 1.74%); 2,948 students with fair diplomas (13.08%) and 2,948 students with average ones. Following is percentage of subjects which have marks greater than or equal to 5: Vietnamese Literature: 84.33%, Chemistry: 74.07%, History: 75.36%, Geography: 95.94%, Mathematics: 86.5% and English: 73.43%. The number of exam papers with 10 marks is 3,219. Of which 1,729 papers in Chemistry, 1,219 in Math, 244 in English, 20 in Geography, 4 in Vietnam Literature and 3 in History. Four high schools, namely Nguyen Trai, Luong The Vinh, Nguyen Hue and Ngo Quyen, have the graduation percentage of 100%. Student Pham Thi My Hanh from Thong Nhat A High School, who had the total score of 57 (Literature: 9 mark, Chemistry: 10, History: 9, Geography: 9.5. Math: 10 and English: 9.5), came first in the exam.
The 2005 - 2006 academic year is the first year when 1,393 students from 4 high schools namely Ngo Quyen, Nguyen Trai, Thong Nhat A and Tan Phu took the graduation exam in accordance with the pilot-section program. 1,287 of these students graduated, making up 92.39%.
