University, College entrance examination of 2012: all set

 

The first time taking her daughter go to attend university entrance exam, Ms Luong Thi Vy, living in Xuan Dong commune (Cam My district), feels nervous for her daughter before exam day. Ms Vy said that: this year, her daughter applies to Dong Nai University major in teacher of Math. To avoid unexpected circumstances, on June 28th, she and her daughter, Pham Thi Hoai  came to Bien Hoa city to register for a room in the university’s dormitory where her daughter has a chance to know more about the entrance exam. Fortunately, the dormitory located in university campus so she and her daughter do not need to worry about travelling and daily activities.

While Vu Truong Son (living in Ninh Thuan) applies to Automobile technology faculty of Dong Nai university of Technology has came and lived with his cousin in Group 5, Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa city to prepare for University exams session 1 major in block A. After finishing session 1, Son continues to live there so that he can attend University exams session 2, major in block D1 in English faculty of Dong Nai University. Vu Truong Son said “Because of staying away from home and living with my cousin, his parents do not have to take him to the examination council. All of problems such as: eating, travelling during the examination is not so critical, therefore he feels pleased to revise his knowledge for the last days before taking the exam. Hopefully, candidates will satisfy their desire and get good result to be freshmen as their parents have expected”. 

 

Mr. Tran Minh Hung,  Chancellor of Dong Nai university note that: Candidates need to pay attention on the details in notification exam document, if problems occur, it is necessary to contact with exam council before the first exam for timely adjustment. Candidates need to arrive at exam councils on time, bring along only personal documents, necessary school equipments; except for reference materials, receiving and broadcasting devises and calculator not listed as acceptable. All of violation of candidates will be treated strictly pursuant to the principles of Ministry of Training and Education 
    

For nearly 7 years of operation, Lac Hong University’s dormitory is an ideal place for candidates in remote areas.Ms. Le Thi Hieu, Director of Lac Hong University’s Dormitory management said: “Currently students in the dorm were on summer vacation; nearly one thousand accommodations are available for nearly two thousand candidates in next two days of exam. Students who live in remote areas will be prioritized to stay at dormitory if they come soon. Additionally, the canteen of dormitory will serve 3 meals per day at a very reasonable prices, only about 10- 15 thousands dong/meal, for candidates and their parents.

 

 

Dr Pham Van Thanh, Vice President of Dong Nai university said that there were  5,196 candidates took the entrance exam at Lac Hong University, 2.286 of which focus on session 1 (block A), 2.908 on session 2 ( including block B,C, D1 and M). By this time, Lac Hong University has prepared for everything in terms of organization, such as setting up a council exam, the exam board, inspection board for the implementation, board of examiners and board of logistic for the entrance exam. The University called for 189 staff, faculty members to take part in entrance exam. Additionally, the University coordinate with Health Department, the Provincial Public Security ... to ensure the health and safety inside and outside the competition area...

According to MA.Lam Thanh Hien - Vice President of Lac Hong University said that the preparation process for university exams has been finished. this year, there are over four thousands candidates taking the entrance exam, witnessing a decrease compared to that of previous years due to the reduction in number of candidates applying to Dong Nai University. The University arranged four venues of exam at four campuses; all rooms are required to be clean and lighted up. There are 200 staff, faculty members supervising at the entrance examination in each phase. All regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training were transmitted to the entire staff. Additionally, the University contracts with the provincial Public Security, Bien Hoa Public Security and Buu Long Public Security to ensure public order and safety inside and outside the examination area. Electronic sector said that they will not cut power during the time of exam and Health department will provide enough medical aid and equipments. 

 

 

This year, among 3 universities of Dong Nai which arrange the entrance exam on, no one has to borrow others place to arrange the exam, therefore the work of providing guidance, travelling of supervising staff, candidates and their parents will become easier than previous years. The available dormitory’s rooms of each university will free for free for candidates and their parent. Additionally, universities also have contacted with relevant security units to ensure order and safety.
