For the first six months, the total State budget revenue of Dong Nai reached 13,200 billion VND, equal to 48.4% as expected and increased by 8.7% compared over the same period last year. As estimated, the local expenditure budget for six first months was 4,556 billion VND, equal to 46.2% as expected and increased by 2.4% compared over the same period last year. According to Ms. Quach Ngoc Lan, Head of Economic and Budget Committee, by keeping track of allocation, management and implementation of State Budget Expenditure, the result was basically satisfactory by sticking to the set estimation pursuant to the Resolution of Provincial People’s Council and complying with the regulations on finance and budget; the reserve fund was effectively and timely used in disaster and diseases prevention and remedy. However, some of revenue targets witnessed decreases, for example corporate income tax revenue decreased by 1,585 billion Vnd for the first five month, Charge and Fee reached more than 5 % and Land use Tax and non-agricultural land use Tax revenue reached more than 7%. For the sake of effectiveness, Economic and Budget Committee should pay more attention on the fields with low rate of revenue to prevent from loss, exploiting budget revenue complying with the regulations, aiding districts witnessing low rate of revenue, and promoting the disbursement process of non-business expenditures.

In regard to the Submission and Draft resolution of Provincial People’s Committee on the supplementation of budget revenue and expenditure estimation, environment protection fee for mineral exploitation, plan adjustment applied for construction investment, auction and participation fee… most of the representatives taking part in the meeting agreed on the contents of the submission and verification report conducted by Economic and Budget Committee.
