According to Vietnam News Agency’s
journalist reporting from Mexico, invited by Labor Party of Mexico (PT),
our Party delegations lead by Dr. Nguyen The Ky – Deputy Central
Committee Propaganda had a working session in Mexico in order to
strengthen the partnership between the two parties, which helped wholly
enhance the relationship between Vietnam and Mexico.
From 26th June to 30th June, comrade Nguyen The Ky and the delegation exchanged knowledge of propaganda, printing and establishing with PT. The delegations had a chance to work with Mr. Pedro Vázquez – member of Politics Ministry of PT, federal senators and chairman of Mexico-Vietnam Friendly Parliamentarians Group and federal senator Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez.
At meetings, both parties informed each other of its activities and the current situations of the nations in recent time as well as examined actual situations, hence gave effective solutions to improve the bilateral relationship and take it into a new phase of development and conform it to a new area. In the meantime delegations exchanged ideas of international and regional issues that both countries were interested in.
After recalling their student time with memories of supporting fight for liberation activities in Vietnam and full of admiration for the Communist Party and people of Vietnam, leaders of PT reviewed Mexico-Vietnam friendly parliamentarians group’s activities with LMP’s introductions in the past term. Then he emphasized relationship between the two parties was unshakeable and indestructible and LMP always appreciated and prioritized developing friendship with the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On his own behalf, comrade Nguyen The Ky showed his pleasure having a chance to pay a visit to Mexico and worked with leaders of LMP at the time Mexico was preparing for its president election – known as the most important event to LMP in particular and to Mexico in general. Mr. Nguyen The Ky was thankful to Mexican people and LMP for their hospitalities and wholehearted support to people and the Communist Party of Vietnam not only in Vietnam independence process in the past but also in building and protecting the nation today. Speaking with full of pride, Mr. Nguyen The Ky highly appreciated the relationship between the parties. He also considered it a firm foundation to take the relationship to the next step for the sake of people of Vietnam and Mexico with the belief that PT would definitely gained more success, especially in president election on the first of July. Besides official activities, comrade Nguyen The Ky and delegations also brought wreath to the statue of Ho Chi Minh president at Park of nations’ liberty. They also talked to Vietnam Embassy in Mexico, came to kindergarten centers and Ho Chi Minh Selective Medical Center in Monterrey and some historic and cultural monuments and interesting places in Mexico as well.
