Evaluation board announces its conclusion after the meeting to evaluate the dossier for adjusting master plan for socioeconomic development in Long Thanh District until 2020 and vision toward 2025.

Attendants to the meeting include: members of the evaluation board of dossier for adjusting the master plan for economic - social development in Long Thanh District until 2020 and vision toward 2025, who are leaders of departments and sectors of: Planning and Investment, Trade and Industry, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, Transport, Education and Training, Culture, sports and Tourism, Home Affairs, Health, Information and Communication, Resources and Environment, Chairman of Long Thanh district PC, Provincial Science and Technology Union, consulting agency: Sub-Institute of Planning and Agricultural Design.

After the  presentation of summary report to adjust the master plan for economic - social development in Long Thanh District to 2020 and vision to 2025 by consulting agency,  Chairman of the PPC had several directing conclusions as follows:

The master plan adjustment for socioeconomic development in Long Thanh District until 2020 and vision toward 2025 was reported to ensure tight evaluation phases and process;

Regarding the layout, the report on the master plan adjustment in Long Thanh district fully reflected the scheme and ensured the required content;

As for the content: the report on planning adjustment in Long Thanh District clearly showed the current status of economic - social development of the district from 2005 to 2011; analyzed advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges; forecasted external impacts affecting the socioeconomic development of the district in the future; set forth the goals, missions and orientation of socioeconomic development of Long Thanh District until 2020 and vision toward 2025.

Some contents to be noticed: 

Reviewing some contents: calculating investment capital, approved planning, environmental targets, targets of culture, sports and tourism sector, health sector and human resources training; updating the implemented programs and projects in the area which need to be properly adjusted, a number of planning projects approved by the sector to be added to the development direction of the sector and local fields; the development orientation also requires further analysis of data, review of the development orientations, population distribution and solutions as well.

Besides, the PPC suggested departments and agencies submit written opinions to the Department of Planning and Investment and Long Thanh district People's Committee to complete additional planning report. 

Long Thanh district People's Committee in collaboration with the consulting agency, Department of Planning and Investment and the relevant departments must review, update, supplement and complete the report on adjusting the overall planning of socioeconomic development in Long Thanh District untill 2020 and vision toward 2025. In the event that the district’s of economic - social development targets in 2025 differs from the 5 year – goals set forth in the Resolution of the Congress Party, the district must agree with the Long Thanh district Standing Committee on the adjustment content. 

Here are some of the directive conclusions of the Chairman at the evaluation meeting to adjust the master plan for socioeconomic development in Long Thanh District untile 2020 and vision toward 2025. Directors of departments, industries and the Long Thanh People's Committee and relevant agencies are responsible for implementing the plan on the basis of these conclusions.
