Dong Nai province promulgates Implementation Plan for Directive 12/CT-TTg of Prime Minister dated 23/06/2013 on intensively implementing urgent solutions to prevent serious traffic accidents in transport.

The Plan aims at helping officers, public servants and the armed forces officers and all people in the province fully understand the content of urgent solutions directed by the Prime Minister; raising each individual’s self-awareness and responsibility for the work of propagating the content of the Directive as well as mobilizing people to follow it in order to effectively prevent serious traffic accidents. 

According to the plan, the work of propagation and law education must reflect the diversity and  great persuasion; take the advantages of media agencies, newspapers, social and political organizations in the entire; focus on the laws on transportation businesses, the practices of training, testing, driving and vehicle registration and inspection.

In the process of implementing the solutions, the authorities and government must come up with plan work closely together in order to reflect the determination to handle traffic safety and order violations; organize and arrange available forces reasonably, focusing on key routes in the province; flexibly detect, prevent and timely handle violations, especially in terms of passenger and merchandise transport. 

At the same time, it is necessary to enhance the role and responsibilities of public duty performers and effective coordination among work force to ensure traffic safety and order, reduce the number of traffic accidents, death tolls, injuries and traffic jams as well. 

The PPC gave specific tasks to Department of Transportation, Provincial Public Security, Provincial Department of Traffic Safety, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio and Television Broadcasting Station and requested the Mass organizations of the province, Dong Nai Labor Newspaper, PC of all districts, traffic management agencies in Dong Nai province which are affiliated to Vietnam Ministry of Transportation to deploy their tasks assigned under Plan 5536/KH-UBND dated 07/12/2013.
