On the morning of july the 3rd,on the same occasion to visit Ho Chi Minh city, Hero of Labor, Professor. Dang Vu Khieu also had a visit to Tran Bien Temple in Dong Nai. Chairman of Provincial People’s committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Head of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department Huynh Van Toi welcomed and took Professor Vu Khieu to visit the Temple of Literature.
Prof. Dang Vu Khieu is visiting Tran Bien Temple
This year Prof. Vu Khieu is 96 years old, a scholar of the culture of Vietnam, the first Director of Vietnam Institute of Sociology, former Deputy Director of Vietnam News Agency, former Vice Chairman of Committee for the Social Sciences (now known as Vietnam Institute for Social Sciences ). Participating in revolutionary activities before the August Revolution in 1945, Prof. Vu Khieu was one of those who laid the foundation for the development of social sciences in Vietnam, was given the title Hero of Labor in the renovation period and Ho Chi Minh Award.
As for Dong Nai province, Prof. Vu Khieu has had the experiences in approaching, spending a lot of time, ability and will and intelligence drafting Tran Bien Temple text and parallel sentences for Bai Duong house in 2002. Visiting Temple of Literature, Prof. Vu Khieu expressed: "Today I returned to this place, with a full of thoughts in my mind and emotion in my heart. Dong Nai, the sacred land, has come into my heart for the last 10 years. Dong Nai Temple of Literature is the most typical place for Vietnamese culture on this sacred land, as a cultural civilization that I respect ,love and admire for all my life".
