Vice Chairman of the National Assembly pays a working visit to Dong Nai

On August 6, 2008, the National Assembly’s delegation led by Uong Chu Luu, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly had a working session with the province’s leaders on the implementation of judicial work in accordance with Resolution No.49 of the Politburo and some other issues on the implementation of the province’s socio-economic development tasks in conformity with the NA’s Resolution.

Attending the working session with Uong Chu Luu are Le Hong Phuong – Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party’s Committee, Vo Van Mot – Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Van Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments and sectors.

The report presented at the session showed that the province’s political system had seriously implemented the Resolution No.49 of the Politburo on judiciary reform. Thanks to this, qualification, ability and political quality of judicial staff have been enhanced and facilities used for judicial work has been upgraded. The judicial work has helped stabilize political security and foster the province’s socio-economic development.

Addressing at the working session, Luu praised Dong Nai for doing a good job in judicial work and he highly appreciated its high socio-economic growth rate. He said that Dong Nai needed to focus more on training judicial staff and improving their qualification. He also noted the province’s petitions against shortcomings arising in the process of reforming judicial work so that the NA would ask the competent central agency to consider them.
