On the evening of July 19, the oral final round of the provincial-level storytelling contest about Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example was held at the meeting hall of the provincial Culture and Sports Complex. Attendees included Dao Van Lung-Deputy Director of the Standing Agency in Ho Chi Minh City of the Central Department of Propaganda and Training, Le Hong Phuong-Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Huynh Van Toi-Head of Propaganda and Training Department of the Provincial Party Committee along with leaders of other agencies, branches and departments.

This is the last turn of competition of the ranking final round ( two parts : storytelling and oral) to determine the best contestants deserved to be awarded in the provincial-level storytelling contest in 2008. 8 contestants chose after storytelling competition on July 15 drew lots to choose situations among 12 ones proposed by the organization board. Issues concerning task and life such as pratising economy, opposing embezzlement, extravagance, etc. were used cleverly by retelling stories about Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example.

Eventually, results included the first prize awarded to Nguyen Thi Dung of Thong Nhat district unit, the second prize awarded to Vu Thi Tuyet Mai of Bien Hoa city unit, the third prize awarded to Hoang Thi Minh Thuong of Long Thanh district unit. 5 contestants won consolation prizes. Besides, the organization board awarded special prizes to the storyteller with the most emotive voice, the youngest contestant, and a religious contestant.

As reported, 3 contestants winning highest prizes this time will go forward into the primary round of the regional level contest to be held in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria –Vung Tau Province in the coming time.
