South Korean Consul General Min Yuong Woo says good bye to province’s leaders, finishing his tenure in Vietnam

On August 19 evening, at the Party Committee’s Meeting Hall, Tran Dinh Thanh – Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party’s Committee and Vo Van Mot - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received Korean Consul General in HCMC Min Yuong Woo when he came to say goodbye after he had finished his tenure in Vietnam.

Woo highly appreciated the cooperation and help Dong Nai province’s leaders have given to foreign-invested businesses, including Korean ones within the past time. He said the time he spent working in Vietnam had left a deep affection in his heart. He suggested Dong Nai’s leaders continue help foreign businesses to have more favorable conditions when they come to invest in the province.

On behalf of the province’s leaders, Tran Dinh Thanh thanked for the love Consul General Min Yuong Woo has given to Dong Nai – Vietnam. During his tenure in HCMC, Thanh said, Woo has helped facilitate the good relations between Vietnam and Korea, one of which between Dong Nai and province of Kyongsangnam is like a bridge for Korean investors to choose Dong Nai as a final destination. Thanh confirmed foreign-invested sector including Korea plays an important role in the economic development of Dong Nai so the province’s leaders will surely create conditions, care for, and protect for the legal interests of businesses’ owners and labourers.

Presently, Korea is the third country among 32 nations which have the biggest investment capital in Dong Nai, with more than 200 projects and the total capital of over US$14 billion.
