Second working day of the 7th Provincial People’s Council’s 13th Session: Tran Van Vinh is elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

Delegates cast their votes

In the Afternoon, the delegates agreed to dismiss Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nga, Chief of the Economy – Budget Board under the People’s Council, from her post due to her reaching retirement age. The delegates also elected some other people as members of the Economy – Budget Board and voted for Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee  

Accordingly, Tran Van Vinh, Ex-Vice General Director of Vietnam Airlines was elected to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for tenure 2004-2009. Quach Ngoc Lan and Hoang Thi Bich Hang were voted to Chief and Deputy Chief of the Economy – Budget Board respectively.

In late Afternoon, the delegates discussed more about the issues related to social security with the focus on compensation and site clearance, relocation of residents and capital construction.

On the last working day, the session will, in the morning, listen to and answer voters’ questions and in the afternoon listen to the Provincial People's Committee’s explanations about some socio-economic, security and national defense issues and pass important resolutions.
