The Meeting of reports on Dong Nai province’s socio-economic situation in January 2007

With the Resolution of plans for 2007 ratified by the People’s Council, that the People’s Committee organized a meeting to deploy the transfer of the plans at the end of 2006 creates advantageous conditions for all levels, industries and units to actively deploy the plans right from the beginning of 2007. All socio-economic activities happened effervescently with considerable results: industrial and buiding production is promoted; the industrial production value is estimated to gain more than VND 5 billion, occupying 8.1% in the plan and 20.4% comparing with the same period; in agriculture, winter-spring crops’ cultivation is ensured to focus on the rate of progress (the total area under winter-spring crops is 24,792 ha, making up 70.4% in the plan and increasing 6.5% comparing with the same period); export turn-over gained over USD 425 million, increasing 40.6% comparing with the same period; commerce and service activities focus on goods manufacture served for Lunar New Year and so on. In terms of culture-society, all levels and industries are positively preparing many plentiful, various  musical programs, and gymnastic and sports events for welcoming our traditional Tet holiday and celebrating the 77^th anniversary of the Vietnamese Communist Party.

After listening to the reports on the socio-economic situation that Dong Nai achieved in the first month of 2007, representatives of all Deparments and Branches contributed their ideas to making plans for the next month on the basis of futher promoting and intensifying what were gained in every field from industry, construction, commerce, service, agriculture, transportation, communication, culture to sports with a view to finishing and outdoing the plans of the year.
