Letter of New Year 2007 Welcoming from the provincial committee of the Party, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province to fellow-citizens, officers and men in the whole province

On the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2007 and Dinh Hoi Spring, saluting the 77^th anniversary of the glorious Vietnamese Communist Party (from Feburary 3, 1930 to Feburary 3, 2007), congratulating on the event that our country accessed the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the successful Asian-Pacific Economic Conference (APEC), the provincial committee of the Party, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province affectionately send thoughtful regards, new year wishes of health, happiness, prosperity and victory to the whole population, officers, soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of armed forces, heroes of labour, senior revolutionary cadres, wounded soldiers, martyr families, working class, farmers and intellectuals, businessmen, pupils and students, provincial youngsters, and Dong Nai overseas compatriots.

    Dear fellow-citizens, officers and men,

    In 2006, the Party Committee and the people of the province make a lot of efforts to promote patriotic competition movements, overcome all difficulties, challenges and determine to carry out successfully the targets and goals given in the 2006 Resolution by the Provincial Party Committee. The economy continues to hold the high growth rate (GDP gaining 14.3%) and becomes more and more steady comparing with the previous years. Attracting internal and external capital investment strongly increases. The economic structure transfers positively and properly. People’s material and spiritual lives are increased. Culture and society have progressive changes. The great united bloc of the whole population is enhanced and developed. The situation of political security and social order and safety is stabilized. The politic system is strengthened, reinforced and improved in terms of operational quality.

    The provincial committee of the Party, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front would like to gratefully thank and heartily praise fellow-citizens, officers and men, civil servants, officials workers and labourers all over the province for the spirit of difficulty-overcoming, effort and exertion, activeness, creativity in labour and work, which help to contribute to making great achievements in 2006.

    2007 is a highly significant year which is that of the twelfth general election, which is the second year of performing the Resolution adopted by the Seventh Provincial Party Committee Congress, and the Resolution adopted by the tenth National Party Congress and which is the first year our country has implemented the commitments to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Dong Nai province, together with the whole nation step into a new stage- the stage of international economic integration. Achievements in innovative years will be advantageous conditions for the province to keep on hastening the rates of industrialization and modernization.

    The provincial committee of the Party, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front respectfully call upon fellow-citizens, officers and men, civil servants, officials workers and labourers all over the province and Dong Nai overseas compatriots to increase solidarity, promote the patriotism, the spirit of self-help for self-improvement, glorious revolutionary trations, overcome all difficulties and challenges, mobilize to a high degree every resources, step up patriotic competition movements, make more positive changes in all aspects, accomplish excellently socio-economic missions from the early month or early quarter of the year 2007 and making the homeland Dong Nai richer and richer, more and more beautiful and civilized.

    In celebration of the new year and the glorious Vietnamese Communist Party being 77 full years old, the provincial committee of the Party, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province wish respectfully the whole fellow-citizens, officers and soldiers, civil servants, officials workers and labourers health, happiness, prosperity and victory.
