Resources and Environment Industry: summation of 2006 and mission deployment for 2007

In 2006, the industry concentrated on steering to deploy the implementation of the year assignment which gained important results. Within the year, in the whole province, 9,217 certificates of the right of land use were changed and 30,580 new ones were issued, increasing the total number of certificates to 374,713 making up 90.06% of the households. Communications and environment protection were performed well and synchronously. Comparing with 2005, it was assessed and reported that the environmental impact increased 18%, the issue of harmful waste management register to owners of waste sources increased 70%, the issue of harmful waste management license increased 14%, and serious environment-polluting businesses were inspected and handled timely. The settlement of letters of dispute, complaint and denouncement were hastened, finishing all the letters of 2005 and switching to resolve 91% of the letters received within the year. Basically, the letters handed over by the Inspection Delegation from the Ministry of Resources and Environment were dealt with already.

In addition, the Department of Resources and Environment brought a lot of information technology applications to the state administrative management and information giving and storing. In 2006, the Department continued to deploy the program of issuing certificates of the right of house ownership and the right of land use and put the website www.tnmtdongnai.gov.vn. into operation.

In 2007, the Department of Resources and Environment focuses on the key missions as follows: complete essentially the issue of certificates of the right of land use, check slowly deployed plans and projects, increase the quality of resources and environment management, in particular attach special importance to reforming administrative proceedings, and organize the receipts and resolution of some administrative procedures via Internet.

At the meeting, many units and individuals with excellent achievements received certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee.
