Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dongnai Province sums up summer holiday activities 2008.

Huynh Thi Nga-Vice-Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee handed certificates of merits over to excellent individuals.

In 2008, summer holiday activities were held with focus and concentration and plentiful and external activities from province level to grassroots level that are suitable for every target group. They focus on educating young people about politics and thought, opening classes for revision, fostering gift, and holding cultural activities, music shows, sports, social activities, public benefit activities, namely Youth IT Contest, Drawing Contest, Picture Drawing Contest, story-telling contest, Art Contest, mobilization for charity collection of textbooks, clothes, bikes to poor students, tours of heritages, historical relics, etc., attracting a lot of young people. New point of summer holiday activities 2008 is that armed forces in the province have also joined the volunteer youth teams in localities.

At the ceremony, 24 collectives and 27 individuals were commended and rewarded thanks to excellent achievements in the summer holiday activities 2008.  

On this occasion, there were 16 students awarded scholarships, including 1 student gaining Tran Van On Award, 5 students receiving Nguyen Thai Binh scholarship of Youth
