On September 26, at the provincial Square, Ajinomoto Company in cooperation with the provincial Study Encouragement Association held a ceremony to award 240 scholarships to needy outstanding students in primary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools across the province. Among 240 scholarships awarded this time, 109 of them are for students in primary schools (worth about US$31 each) and 81 ones awarded to students in junior high schools (worth about US$31 each) along with 50 ones awarded to students in senior high schools (worth about US$92 each) As reported, after organizing this scholarship awarding ceremony four times, Ajinomoto Co. has granted  920 scholarships worth about US$29,000. “Our company committed to supporting poor studious and outstanding students during their schooling years,” The General Director of Ajinomoto Co said .
