The delegation was received and worked with by Tran Dinh Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party’s Committee, Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Chairperson of the Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of departments, sectors and industrial zones across the province.
At the working session, Vo Van Mot introduced the delegation to the achievements Dong Nai has gained. He said Dong Nai is a province located in the southern key economic zone with recent pretty high and stable growth rate and that there are 27 Izs with 947 investment licenses whose capital is valued at US$14,1000 billion, creating jobs for more than 350,000 people.
In addition to the foreign investment poured into the locality, he said, domestic investors from Dong Nai have started to look for outside markets, including the neighboring country Laos, adding that some of the companies run quite well in Laos like Tin Nghia Company (planting coffee, rubber) and Long Thanh Golf Limited Company
Moreover, he said Dong Nai’s businesses have ceaselessly promoted assistance activities for the neighboring country, quoting the figures that Long Thanh Golf has built 60 houses of compassion, provided financial aid for 2000 blinds to have their eyes operated, given 800 wheelchairs and dug 50 wells. He affirmed that with the inherent traditional good relations between Vietnam and Laos, the delegation’s visit to Dong Nai would further strengthen the ties between the two countries in general and Laos and Dong Nai in particular.
Addressing the working session, Sillavong Khoutphaithoun said he was very glad to see Dong Nai’s renovation and strong growth after his first visit to Dong Nai 30 years ago (1978). He stressed that these results were gained thanks to the party’s leadership and the inborn great diligence of Dong Nai’s people, adding that this was the good lesson the delegation and the capital city of Vientiane’s people could learn from.
He also sent the best regards of City Party Committee’s Secretary, and Laos’ People to Dong Nai’s Party Committee and Dong Nai’s people.

He said Laos has recently suffered from serious damages caused by fierce floods but Vietnam including Dong Nai has lent a helping hand to Laos’ people. He also agreed on Mot’s comment about the relations between the two countries and he hoped they would continue growing
Besides, the two sides discussed with each other about the common issues on socio-economic development, especially industrial zone investment.
On August 27 Afternoon, the delegation visited and worked with Dong Nai Industrial Zone Authority.
On August 29, the delegation will work with Long Thanh Golf Ltd Company.
