Attending the seminar was 50 representatives who are folk culture researchers inside and outside the province, cultural managers of 6 provinces, cities in the Southeast. At the seminar, all speeches of researchers, folk culture managers inside and outside the province expressed general viewpoints on values of folk culture of the Southeast as well as experience in conserving and preserving values of folk culture of localities to look for stronger solutions for conservation and preservation so that these valuable heritages become a spiritual motivation and inner force to the Southeast in its development process.

On this occasion, The Vietnam Folk Arts Association proclaimed and handed over recognition certificate of folk artisan to the village patriarch Nam Noi (Chau Ro ethnic minority, Phu Ly commune, Vinh Cuu district) and Ka Bao (Chau Ma ethnic minority, Ta Lai commune, Tan Phu district) due to their contribution to conservation and preservation of folk culture values.
