Within the framework of the 2008 Phu Dong Sports Festival, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien chaired a meeting to review physical training activities of the school’s students and activities of the Phu Dong Sports Festival for period 2004-2008. The meeting attracted over 300 delegates representing Departments of Education and Training, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism throughout the country and relevant ministries and agencies. This meeting is held every four years.
At the meeting, 141 units and 140 individuals received certificates of merit from Minister of Education and Training. Among those, there were one unit of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training and the province’s three individuals
