79 substandard helmets destroyed

This morning, the Council for destroying shoddy helmets led by Le Xuan Truong – deputy head of Dong Nai Quality Assurance and Testing centre destroyed 79 fake helmets or helmets with unknown origin and without verification stamps at Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.

        These helmets have been confiscated by Dong Nai interdisciplinary inspectorate of helmets through inspecting helmet traders in the provincial area in 2007. They were also verified at the Quality Assurance and Testing centre 3, Ho Chi Minh city. As a result, they are substandard helmets.
