(CTTĐT-Dong Nai) – A delegation led by Mr. Ha Huy Ha, Deputy Director of State Department of Construction Quality Assessment, had just inspected the construction of Nhon Trach 3 and 4 Thermal Power Plants in Nhon Trach districts.

According to the report of the general construction contractor consortium, up to now, about 37% of the total volume has been built, about 7% behind the set schedule. However, the general progress is still guaranteed and it is expected that commercial power generating of Nhon Trach 3 Thermal Power Plant will begin in November 2024 and around May 2025 for Nhon Trach 4 Thermal Power Plant.

Design, equipment procurement and manufacturing, and construction are following schedule, upholding quality. The problem of the project is that the power transmission infrastructure (lines, substations) could potentially slow down the testing and operation.
The head of the delegation requested that the investor complied with the construction's safety standards and regulations; acceptance test in each stage; responsibly overcome some problems pointed out by the members of the delegation and have a plan to ensure safe construction during raining season. He also requested the Department of Industry and Trade to report to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee any problem related to land and power transmission infrastructure.
