Dong Nai river network has 58 large hydropower and irrigation projects

​(CTT-Dong Nai) - According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, on the Dong Nai river basin (located in the provinces: Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc) there are a total of 58 large-scale hydropower and irrigation projects managed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. In which, there are 3 projects in Dong Nai province: Phu Tan 2, line VI in Cau Moi lake and Tri An lake.

Currently, the Department of Water Resources Management is assigned the responsibility of inspecting and supervising the minimum flow in the downstream of reservoirs and dams; handle violations for acts of failing to ensure the minimum flow as regulated, and unlicensed water exploitation.
In addition to the works, in the Dong Nai river basin, there are 18 hydroelectric and irrigation projects under the province's supervision. ​​
